Coordinator, Economic and Regional Cooperation, Consulate General of Finland in St Petersburg
The Consulate General is announcing a vacancy for the position of coordinator to join the Team for Economic and Regional Cooperation. We are looking for a Team Member who is able to work independently and proactively, contributing experience, local expertize and new ideas to the work of the Team. If you are active, efficient, outgoing and interested broadly in economic and societal issues, as well as possess relevant working experience, we are looking forward to receiving your application.
The Consulate General of Finland in St Petersburg is Finland’s largest bilateral representation worldwide. Economic cooperation is one of the cornerstones of Finland’s presence in the region. The Consulate General aims to actively promote opportunities for increasing trade, business and investments of Finnish companies in the region. Regional cooperation between Finland and Northwestern Russia – including environmental, arctic and cross-border cooperation – is an active and important part of bilateral relations. The Consulate General strives to make use of regional cooperation instruments as a way to promote mutually beneficial, pragmatic cooperation between authorities, organizations, businesses and ordinary people.
The coordinator will support the Team Leader comprehensively in managing this broad sector. Specific tasks and requirements are listed below.
